The Orlando Sentinel and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation have been honored to partner with you to strengthen Orlando area communities through the Orlando Sentinel Family Fund.

As of May 1, 2017, the Robert R. McCormick Foundation is no longer accepting donations for the Orlando Sentinel Family Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund. The Orlando Sentinel will be assuming full responsibility for the Family Fund’s charitable fundraising outreach and grant-making support, in addition to its other philanthropic efforts.

The McCormick Foundation is shifting its focus to concentrate on strengthening Chicago, its home community. The Foundation and the Orlando Sentinel Family Fund will work closely on the transition of activities this year.

The Orlando Sentinel remains committed to keeping local communities strong with its support of the nonprofit community. It has been a pleasure for the Robert R. McCormick Foundation and the Orlando Sentinel to have worked together to support the many local nonprofit organizations whose programs have improved lives of thousands. More information will be shared soon about the Orlando Sentinel Family Fund and its new direction.
